In the World Expo 2015, which will take place from 1st May to 31 October 2015, the greatest technic and scientific innovation concerning food sector, from production to conservation, to distribution.
In previous exhibitions around the world, the countries that were participating without having their own pavilion were grouped in communal areas according to their geographical location. Expo Milano 2015 has decided to introduce a new system of grouping countries without pavilions: the cluster system.

“Conserving agro-biodiversity on-farm is important in the pursuit of globally resilient agricultural and food systems and increasingly relevant in the face of climate change.
Preservation of agricultural biodiversity as a means to empower small scale farmers in developing countries and improve their livelihood has attracted many research and in the last 20 years many projects to support farmers in maintaining the diversity have been implemented worldwide.
In this track we would like to invite researchers, scientists and policy makers, to exchange idea, discuss strategies and priorities and to share their research on use and conservation of agricultural biodiversity for smallholder farmers.”
THE Asean Centre for Biodiversity (ACB) invites nominations for the Asean Champions of Biodiversity from individuals or groups from the youth, media and business sectors who have made significant contributions to the conservation and sustainable management of biodiversity in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) region.
